EMERGIA program of "Junta de Andalucía"
  The IMSE (Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla, a mixed institute belonging to CSIC and the University of Sevilla) is participating in the EMERGIA program of "Junta de Andalucia" offering a number of Post-Doctoral profiles related to microelectronics research.

Post-doctoral candidates must have a PhD degree with a graduation date between July 14th 2008 and July 14th 2015 (this is, between 5 to 12 years old). The EMERGIA program is a 4-year fellowship which comes with a 38k€ salary plus a research budget of 160k€.

The suggested profiles are as follows, although we are open to other complementary profiles depending on the candidate's qualifications:

- Neuromorphic Engineering for Artificial Intelligence.
- Spiking Artificial Neural Sensing, Deep Spiking Convolution, Processing, and Learning Systems.
- Event-Driven Dynamic Vision Sensors (DVS).
- Memristor-based Processing/Learning Systems.
- Emerging Devices for Nonconventional Computing.
- Smart Image and Vision Sensors. Feature-based sensors.
- Single-Photon Detectors and Single-Photon Camera Systems.
- Bio-Medical Circuits and Systems.
- Neural Recording and Stimulation for Brain Machine Interfaces.
- High-Speed Communication Circuits and Systems.
- Deep Learning and Convolutional Neural Networks for Vision.
- Other areas in advanced Micro/Nano chips design and applications.
