On March 19, 2024, the Universidad de Sevilla held the ceremony to present the Fama Awards for research career. On this occasion, the awards corresponding to the 2021-22 and 2022-23 editions have been awarded.

Fama Prize

The objective of this award, whose call is included in the VII Own Research and Transfer Plan of the Universidad de Sevilla, is to recognize and disseminate the merits accumulated by the teaching and research staff of the US during a research career of excellence developed in the Universidad de Sevilla.

Since their creation in 2006, these awards annually recognize the research career of US professors in each of the five major areas of knowledge. With them, among other objectives, we contribute to disseminating the merits of the most relevant and longest-serving researchers at the Universidad de Sevilla.
