GreenCrypt aims to transform cryptographic hardware by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to develop secure, sustainable, and adaptable solutions. It addresses pressing challenges in cybersecurity, particularly for resource-constrained environments such as IoT and edge computing devices, while aligning with global sustainability goals like the European Green Deal. GreenCrypt focuses on leveraging AI to enhance the design and evaluation of cryptographic circuits. Traditional approaches to securing hardware often involve manual processes that are time consuming and prone to human error. This project aims to automate security evaluations and the inclusion of countermeasures against hardware attacks, such as side-channel and fault attacks, by employing advanced AI techniques like machine learning and deep learning. These tools allow for the identification of vulnerabilities, optimization of security implementations, and robust protection throughout all design stages.
